Journalist Roddy (Harvey Keitel) has a camera implanted in his eye. He's been hired by a television producer to film terminally ill Katherine (Romy Schneider) without her knowledge. His footage will run on television, but Katherine has other plans.
fascinating obscure film

Not as gloomy as it sounds from the plot title. A beautifully shot film set in the recognisable near future. Almost all disease is cured so the terminally ill become overnight celebrities and hounded into becoming reality TV stars. Keitel & Schneider are wonderful and the Glasgow setting is used to create some very unique cinematography. Was that really over 2 hours? It certainly didn't feel like it
