Dexter, your friendly neighbourhood serial killer. - Dexter: Series 2 review by Nipper

Spoiler Alert
21/02/2014

Dexter is a quite remarkable creation: the viewer knows that they really should not be rooting for a vicious serial killer but such is Dexter's charm and on screen magnetism that it is almost impossible not to cheer out loud as he goes about his gruesome work. Prepare to be knee deep in blood!

Perhaps the reason that Dex is so popular is that he has something of the Lone Ranger about him, his mission is to righten wrongs and mete out the justice the wrong doer deserves but has so far avoided. He's the serial killer you would be happy to invite to your party or ask to collect your kids from school. Unless, of course you happen to be an unpunished murderer yourself. If so you should be very very careful.
