- Synopsis:
- Distant Shores is a British comedy and drama television series. The series premiered in 2005, and introduces audiences to Bill Shore (played by the Doctor Who alum Peter Davison). He is an accomplished plastic surgeon working out of London. With his marriage in jeopardy, Bill agrees to take a six month vet research job in Hildasay, a small island. The series revolves around the family as they struggle to adjust to their new location and community.
