- Tenor star Juan Diego Florez sings the role of the young lover Ernesto in Donizetti's sparkling operatic comedy. Filmed live at the Zurich Opera House, this witty and colourful production also stars the great bass-baritone Ruggero Raimondi in the title-role of the irascible Don. The story of young love triumphant inspired many of the composer's most infectiously toe-tapping ensembles and most tender arias, establishing "Don Pasquale" as one of Italian opera's most irresistible evenings.
