Synopsis:
Constable Benton Fraser (Paul Gross) returns from a working holiday in the North, only to find his apartment on fire and his partner Ray Vecchio replaced by a stranger! It transpires that Ray is on a deep undercover assignment and he has been replaced by Detective Stanley Kowalski (Callum Keith Rennie), who has taken his role at both work and home to ensure that Ray's cover isn't blown. Stanley just wants to keep his head down, do his job and ignore his failed marriage, but he hadn't reckoned on being paired up with a well-dressed Mountie with a penchant for literally sniffing out clues and his deaf, lip-reading wolf.
