Piaf: The Documentary
This unique documentary tells the life story of the Little Sparrow, from her childhood raised in a brothel, performing on the road with her father and street-singing to avoid prostitution; to the heights of international fame, her great loves and her great losses. Featuring interviews with her childhood friend Mômone, her accordionist Marc Borel and more; rare footage of Piaf herself including home movies and an extraordinary interview at the time of her manager's murder in 1936, as well as an extract from Cocteau's Le Bel Indifferent from 1940; this is a rare opportunity to see Piaf as few in our lifetime have seen her, and discover the extraordinary depths of this slight young woman who became a towering legend.- Actors:

The best of the concerts - Edith Piaf: The Perfect Concert / Piaf: The Documentary review by CW
In this documentary you get to see and hear complete songs from a number of concerts during Edith Piaf’s stage career. I already was familiar with some of the songs but it was marvellous watching all of them. Her voice was good but her delivery and stage presence were absolutely extraordinary. Excellent documentary.
