Undercover FBI Agent Amanda Foster is on the edge. Now she's been assigned to transport Nick Constantine to Federal prison in Los Angeles. Nick is a world-renowned, high-tech thief who is selling his company's military secrets to the highest bidder. Amanda soon discovers that she has been set up. Just as she realises she can trust no one, not even her fellow agents, Los Angeles is devastated by a massive earthquake. Although they are on opposite sides of the law, Amanda and Nick must now join forces to fight their way through the ravaged streets of LA while being hunted by ruthless assassins and dirty cops.
