- "Fathers and Daughters" is a love story between a father and daughter living in New York City. The story moves back and forth between the 1980's where Jake Davis, a Pulitzer-winning novelist and widower, struggles with mental illness as he tries to raise his 5-year old daughter, Katie, and 30-year-old Katie's life in present-day Manhattan where she battles the demons that stem from her troubled childhood.

Old film mixed up with new releases? - Fathers and Daughters review by CP Customer
Well made a mistake adding this to the rental list, thought i was looking at new releases?! And got it quicker than usual, realising then i'd seen it nigh on 2 yrs ago! And had to wait an extra day to get it in the post. Film was ok 2 yrs ago! Shouldn't have come across it when looking at new releases.
