- Synopsis:
- For the Love of Ada is a British comedy series about an elderly widow and her relationship with a new man in her life. The series follows Ada (Irene Handl), a widower who lives with her daughter Ruth (Barbara Mitchell) and her husband Leslie (Jack Smethurst). When she meets gravedigger Walter (Wilfred Pickles), she finds a new friend with which to spend her time and while she must also contend with life with her daughter, the two grow their relationship as they find companionship with each other.
