Synopsis:
For one young couple with an unshakeable bond, everything seems certain. Brilliant poet Charles Williams (James Franco) is about to hit the big time on the literary scene. He and his beautiful wife, Catherine (Mila Kunis), have it all. Everything is perfect... Until Charles starts suffering haunting flashbacks of his life before... Unable to stop obsessing about the decisions he made many years ago, Charles realises that cracks are beginning to show in the perfect world he and Catherine have built together. When Charles is confronted with the illness of his childhood friend (Zack Braff), he is made to face his fears.
In a world where everything is changing, it's clear that the only real certainty is Catherine. But has he realised it too late or can love really conquer all?

Trade Description Act Scandal - Forever Love review by IW

Spoiler Alert
24/01/2017

I am convinced that somewhere in the advertising blurb the implication was that this film was enjoyable to watch and even a tiny bit positive.

Well, the lighting was terrific and the camera angles were pretty good ... The acting wasn't bad either - so what's the problem?

Plot, over use of flashbacks, general air of depression and fatalism, lack of apparent connection between the supposedly romantic leads ...

I couldn't finish watching it, with the only excitement being whether boredom or confusion was the most dominant factor.
