Synopsis:
A special collector's edition tribute to Ol' Blue Eyes, Frank Sinatra. Sinatra's career in film and television is chronicled over five parts: 'The Bobby Sox Years' focuses on his early years as a struggling band singer; 'The Hollywood Years' takes in his early film roles in the likes of 'Anchors Aweigh' and 'On the Town'; 'Hollywood the Second Time Round' reviews his roles after 'From Here To Eternity', including 'The Man With the Golden Arm' and 'Guys and Dolls'; 'The Swinging Years' follows his return to the stage with the likes of Dean Martin, Sammi Davis Jnr.
and Peter Lawford, who became collectively known as the Rat Pack; and 'The Vintage Years' puts the spotlight on his twilight years as an actor in films such as 'Von Ryan's Express' and 'The Detective', and his continuing success as a crooner with classic songs such as 'My Way' and 'Strangers in the Night'.
