- The epic story of Fred's efforts to reconstruct our industrial past as he digs a 100 foot mineshaft in his back garden complete with working steam powered pit head gear. The full 60 minute BBC documentary which follows Fred and his mining mates as they work on their pit and travel round the country visiting old mines and mining museums. Plus around two hours of previously unseen extras including Fred outlining his grand plan for the mine, work on the pit bank and winding engine and the full, uncut bow and arrow scene.
