The amazing world of Fred Dibnah MBE Britain's legendary Steeplejack. Watch in awe as Fred demolished the towering brick built chimneys of Britain's industrial past. He did not bother with dynamite, but drilled out courses ot bricks at the foot of the chimney to be felled. He wedged heavy timbers into the gap then lit a fire. When the props burned away, the chimney collapsed into the space cleared tor it. Fred, hovering nervously nearby, would signal the end with a couple of toots on an old motor horn he carried with him.
