- Synopsis:
- Fresh Fields is a British comedy series about a working class couple and their friends and family. The series follows couple William (Anton Rodgers) and Hester Fields (Julia McKenzie) and their lives. The series chronicles Williams attempts to work hard for his family and his wifes attempts to stay entertained at home by finding new and interesting hobbies to keep her occupied. On occasion they must contend with Hester’s mother Nancy (Fanny Rowe), something that irritates William as she lives dangerously close to them.
