Synopsis:: This stunningly photographed film, set in a remote village in India's Himalayas, follows young Lasya (Gauri) whose simple life with her father, Karma (Danny Denzongpa), and brother, Chomo (Aungchuk), is devastated by the invasion of military forces searching for a mysterious enemy. The villagers, who must constantly battle their harsh surroundings, are desperate to assuage the soldiers after an unidentified frozen corpse is found.
