German Fighters (2006)

This documentary chronicles the gradual disintegration of the Luftwaffe over the course of the Second World War. Despite the skill of the pilots and many innovations in German aircraft design, the Nazi aerial forces were worn down by the superiority of Allied air power. Included here is footage from both the German and Allied archives, plus 3D computer generated animation and analysis by leading authorities.
