Synopsis:
Johnny Blaze (Nicolas Cage) was only a teenaged stunt biker when he sold his soul to the devil (Peter Fonda). Years later, Johnny is a world renowned daredevil by day, but at night, he becomes the Ghost Rider of Marvel Comics legend. The devil's bounty hunter, he is charged with finding evil souls on earth and bringing them to hell. But when a twist of fate brings Johnny's long-lost love (Eva Mendes) back into his life, Johnny realizes he just might have a second chance at happiness - if he can beat the devil and win back his soul.
To do so he'll have to defeat Blackheart (Wes Bentley), the devil's nemesis and wayward son, whose plot to take over his father's realm will bring hell on earth - unless Ghost Rider can stop him.

Flametastic! - Ghost Rider review by CP Customer

Spoiler Alert
02/10/2007

I must say this was a story I was not familiar with, as it is not one of the major league Comic Book characters. I rented it on the stength of the trailer and I was not dissapointed. It was good to see Nicolas Cage in an action role again although strictly speaking all the action takes place with his alter-ego (the flame rider). Storyline is simple enough to follow but it is the action scenes that will attract most people. You don't often see a flaming skull biker ride down the side of a skyscraper now do you? What youi need to do to appreciate the movie even further is make sure you have it linked to quality home cinema system. The sound reproduction is awsome and increased my viewing pleasure! So if you fancy top action scenes coupled with a hero fighting the forces of darkness with even more darkness then this is the film for you! Rent it now and turn it up to 11!

Nice effects, rubbish movie. - Ghost Rider review by CP Customer

Spoiler Alert

This is the type of film which is aimed fair and square at teenage boys. The storyline and acting is really poor, Nicolas Cage comes pretty close to a career worst and despite some half decent special effects this is a really poor film.

Disappointing - Ghost Rider review by CP Customer

Spoiler Alert
02/09/2007

I was really looking forward to this but it is a weak story and the acting also poor. Nic Cage did his best with a cheesy script, but there was little to hold your interest. Wes Bentley showed a lot of promise in American Beauty but seemed to lack any substantial talent in this. Some mildly interesting stunts and effects, but done better elsewhere.
