Gaggles of little green ghosts, spooks and a host of paranormal occurrences are on the rampage in New York. Can anyone save the world from these supernatural creatures? Only three unemployed and enterprising university parapsychologists when they go into the "Ghostbusters" business. Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis star as the freelance crusaders who team up as the Ghostbusters squad. Armed with ectoplasmic swats and patented booby traps, they walk a fine line between scientific genius and lunacy in their quest to rid the city of these slimey, haunting monsters.

One of those films from my childhood that still provokes fond memories. Ghostbusters remains a funny, thrilling romp through New York's supernatural wildlife. Having bought this blu ray on release the amount of grain is very surprising, the film does look good overall but I still think more could have been done to the print. Alot of the extras relate to the video game but amongst the menus are some vintage insights into the making of and a good commentary track.
