- Starring Pio Marmai, 'Grand Depart' is a coming of age story like no other. Romain (Marmai) is stuck in a rut. Between his domineering, bipolar brother and his dad who suffers from a neuro-degenerative disease that is as comic as it is tragic, he finds out that he can't go on being the boy who simply does what is expected of him. About to turn 30, Romain decides it's high time he finally faces up to his dad, cynical brother, and his tendency to suppress his own emotions in order to embrace a sense of normality.
