Synopsis:
Join one of Britain's best known hill-walkers, broadcaster, journalist and author Cameron McNeish and writer Paul Hannon as they explore the beautiful Yorkshire Dales.

Ingleborough
Surrounded by wonderful limestone scenery, Ingleborough is the most famous hill in the Pennines. Highlights of this ascent from Clapham include Ingleborough Cave and the huge vertical shaft of Gaping Gill, whilst the descent into Ribbledale is via Souther Scales. This 10 mile walk is easily accessed by train at each end.
Swaledale
This 12 mile circular walk in historic Swaledale starts at Muker and follows the River Swale eastward before climbing via Gunnerside Gill to the old Blakethwaite Smelt Mill. Today only old shafts and disused workings remain of a once important lead mining industry. After reaching the moors and descending into Swinner Gill there's still time to admire the impressive Kisdon Force.
Wharfedale
Centred on the thriving village of Grassington, this 11 mile circular walk is full of variety. Updale limestone country holds sway whilst downstream the Wharfe flows through wooded banks and between high-walled grouse moors where rough millstone grit predominates.
Spectacular photography, good conversation and great walking. Enjoy the Yorkshire Dales from the comfort of your own home and plan your next trip.
