- Alain Marécaux was an average family man from a small village in the north of France - and along with 17 other people, wrongly accused and jailed for paedophilia in 2001. Philippe Torreton delivers a tour-de-force performance as the real-life Marécaux who, in spite of the lack of evidence and false testimonies, is separated from his loved ones and forced to endure a Kafka-esque journey of legal persecution and self-absorbed authority
