Daniel Gilbert is a New York City-born guitarist who has been working at Ml since 1979. He has written much of the school's guitar-based curriculum, including Single String Improvisation, Funk Rhythm Guitar, Applied Technique, Eclectic Electric Guitar, and Guitar Workout.
Beth Marlis (GIT Department Head) holds a Masters Degree in Music from USC, and has been an Instructor at Ml since 1987. She currently teaches Single String Improvisation (co-author), Rhythm Guitar, RSW, Theory, Ear Training, and Open Counseling.
