- Facing retirement, professional house-sitter Jean (Penelope Wilton) takes her final job in a beautiful country house. When two strangers arrive - petty thief Michael (Daniel Mays) and Steph (Sinead Matthews) - Jean finds the family she has always craved. Yet, as their past lives catch up with them, the delusional family unit they have created is threatened and the lines between good and evil become blurred.
