Hammer the Toff (1952)
Society sleuth the Hon. Richard Rollison (john Bentley), known as The Toff', meets pretty Susan Lancaster (Patricia Dainton) on a train and helps her to prove that a 'Robin Hood' crook, who had been blamed for killing her Uncle for a secret steel formula, may not have committed the crime.
