Yudi, a one-time best-selling writer now bankrupt, is forced to write a romantic comedy for an ageing superstar. Catch is, Yudi doesn't believe in happily-ever-afters and can't seem to shake off baggage from his many earlier relationships. But when he befriends romance writer Aanchal, it reaffirms his belief that it's not opposites that attract. He also starts to realize that his life is slowly unraveling like a romantic comedy itself!
It's always amusing to see Saif Ali Khan acting immature, although his wrinkles don't suit it anymore. That's the film's appeal: it is funny. Other than that it's rather glossy & Americanized for the Indian taste, with the constant appearance of an irritating girl who tries to speak Hindi in a Boston sounding accent.
