- 14 year old Erika Yurken/Yuk (Saskia Burmeister) is a melodramatic teenager living in a chaotic house with a very unconventional family who believes she is destined for greater things. She daydreams of being a famous movie star, great heroine and almost anything else that takes her away from the hum drum world of Barringa East. At least at school Yuk feels she is shining.
