Synopsis:
The vintage films gathered in this eclectic collection address the topic of juvenile delinquency and various measures for dealing with it. In an attempt to guide 1950's teenagers towards moral righteousness, authorities in California and other states created many educational and promotional films like those seen here. "Show 'Em the Road," instructs young people on the dangers of driving recklessly and shows teens joining the Mobilgas "Safety and Economy" competition. Next, "The Stranger" is a harrowing tale of what happens to a young girl who is kidnapped and subsequently murdered by her captor. Finally, "Ask Me, Don't Tell Me" demonstrates the perils of life for teenage gang-members.
