Home Away from Home: The Yanks in Ireland (1994)

Documentary telling the story of the 300,000 American servicemen who helped fight the Second World War from their bases in Ireland. The film follows a group of veterans returning to the country they called home between the years of 1942 and 1945. While they share stories of their time in Ireland they remember the friends they made and the friends they lost.
