How to Save Us (2014)

Horror drama directed by and starring Jason Trost. Brian (Trost) must go to Tasmania in order to find his missing younger brother who was lost during a strange quarantine. When he gets there, he finds the island is completely deserted, at lease by the living. The island is haunted by hellish spirits and Brian must take certain odd precautions if he is to survive long enough to find his brother, including smearing himself in human ashes. Will he find his brother in time, or will they both be condemned to wander this forsaken land among the demonic spirits that plague it?
