Synopsis:
Huckleberry Finn is a happy young boy who enjoys the outdoors and doesn't like wearing shoes! His adoptive mother is always trying to make him behave like a gentleman but Huck always soon returns to his wayward ways! This is a collection of five of his adventures. 'In the Pirate's Cave' sees Huck organising a tresaure hunt with his friends. In 'Pap's Back' Huck is sent to school and finds it difficult, but when he hears his 'Pap' is back in town he tries to settle down into his new daily life. When Huck is abducted by his father in 'Cabin Fever' he is taken to a shack and held prisoner. The widow tracks him down however and tries to persuade Sam Finn to give the boy up.
Huck breaks out in 'Escape to Freedom' by sawing a log in the shack, breaking down the door and demolishing the furniture with an axe. 'A Sign For Everything' sees Huck finding Miss Watson's slave, a boy called Jim, who is starving. Huck feeds the hungry Jim and the two join forces as runaways.
