- Ex-Los Angeles cop turned private eye Kline is hired by a billionaire industrialist to search for his missing son. Following a trail that leads him to Asia he soon finds himself in Hong Kong where he is sucked into the world of the city's most powerful gangster Su Dongpo. Traumatized by his past as a cop and memories of the serial killer Hasford, Kline must use everything that he has at his disposal to stay on track and find the missing son.

Misfiring Thriller - I Come with the Rain review by Alphaville
Josh Hartnett stars in a Korean film and chooses the wrong one. This is one of those thriller that has no thrills. The plot goes nowhere as director Tran Anh Hang gets bogged down in one longueur after another. Worth dipping into for an eccentric score (including Radiohead) and the charismatic screen presence of Lee Byung Hun. At his moody best as a Hong Kong gangster, he effortlessly steals every scene he’s in with barely any dialogue.
