Ivry Gitlis and the Great Tradition (2004)

Documentary which looks at the life and career of the acclaimed Israeli violinist Ivry Gitlis. Gitlis has achieved the rare distinction of performing with a number of the world's top orchestras, including the New York Philharmonic, Berlin Philharmonic and Vienna Philharmonic, as well as contributing to pop culture through collaborations with John Lennon and The Rolling Stones. This documentary examines the life of one of modern classical music's most iconic figures.
