Synopsis:
Rainbow Bridge, the controversial seventies cult classic, has now been completely restored and is presented here in its original full length theatrical form. Set in Hawaii in 1970 it follows the journey of a young woman across the Pacific to Hawaii and the events once she arrives. The music of Jimi Hendrix dominated Rainbow Bridge's soundtrack and the centrepiece of the whole film is the stunning live footage of Hendrix's July 1970 concert atop the Haleakala Volcano accompanied by Mitch Mitchell on drums and Billy Cox on bass.

Not great - Jimi Hendrix: Rainbow Bridge review by LC

Spoiler Alert

Most of the film is a vague rambling of hippy ideals and theories, culminating for some reason in an outdoor performance by Jimi Hendrix. Whilst Hendrix is great, there's only around 25 mins of him, and doesn't really justify the rest of it. A real 60's odditiy.
