Actress and campaigner, Joanna Lumley embarks on the trip of a lifetime; to follow the River Nile, the longest river in the world, from sea to source. She meets ferryboat captains, crocodile hunters, whirling dervishes and beauty queens and finds herself undertaking a wood smoke beauty treatment, running with Olympic hopefuls, getting up close to a baby rhino calf playing with its mother and hacking through the jungle to reach the newly-discovered source of the great river.
