This film give a glimpse into the life of these giant mammals of the oceans. At up to 10 meters long, they have adapted their behaviour and hunting techniques to suit their environment, whether it is frozen seas around Antarctica or the warm waters off the coast of San Francisco, orcas have learnt to hunt in different ways. In Patagonia, Argentina, orcas launch themselves onto the beach to capture sea lion pups, in Port Elizabeth, South Africa during the sardine run, we witness the dramatic moments as an orca relentlessly assaults and captures its closest cousin, a doIphin and in New Zealand where the orcas hunt down poisonous stingrays. With incredible footage we get to see how these formidable hunters use their intelligence, ability to communicate, speed and strength in the wild. It is both extraordinary and shocking to witness the ocean's greatest predator in action.
