- They say love and money don't mix, but you can't blame Harry Lockhart for trying. He's been whisked from a life of petty crime to Hollywood, where he'll audition for the role of a movie detective and be tutored for the part by a private eye. Now all he has to do is convince the dream girl he meets that he's a real detective. And not stumble over the corpses as reel life abruptly gives way to the real.

Quite funny and entertaining with good actors, but don't expect any high eyebrow art experience - this is a film noir detective story the American way.

Fun! - Kiss Kiss Bang Bang review by HM
Light but deadly; bodies abound. It reminded me of Chinatown as events baffle the viewer and the culprit emerges late in the film. A comedy thriller which worked for me as good entertainment with a light touch. A few beers an a bag of popcorn with this one. Watched with a friend you may be able to work out what the hell is going on! Always intriguing, the lead actors deliver charisma to lift the thing.

Amusing (but not *funny*) story about a no-hoper thrown into the world of Hollywood and murder. NIce moments but the character storyline *can* be a bit confusing as to who is what and why and how. However - a pleasant film with more positives than negatives
