Kwaheri (1964)

This sensationalistic, mondo-style documentary follows directors Byron Chudnow and Thor L. Brooks into the heart of Africa, where they turn their lenses on disappearing tribal customs, such as witch doctors performing primitive brain surgery. Other topics covered - or exploited, as the case may be - include bizarre birth defects, ritual animal slaughter, the drinking of blood, a variety of shocking sexual rites and more.
