The Paris Opera Ballet is one of the world's great ballet companies. An immersive experience, the film allows us a unique insight into every aspect of one of France's principal cultural institutions. LA DANSE immediately draws us into the preparations for performances of seven ballets, including The Nutcracker by Rudolf Nureyev, Genus by Wayne McGregor and Medea by Angelin Preljocaj, widely considered to be the most important contemporary choreographer working in ballet today.
