- Sydney Opera House and the Harbour Bridge form the backdrop to this spectacular production of Verdi's opera,performed on a floating,mirrored stage in Sydney Harbour. The cast is lead by Emma Matthews as Violetta,with Gianluca Terranova as Alfredo,and Jonathan Summers as Giorgio. Conductor Brian Castles-Onion leads the Australian Opera and Ballet Orchestra from a specially constructed studio concealed beneath the stage.
