- Synopsis:
- A silent movie to the music of Igor Stravinsky leading us into the world of Santeria. Three characters share the same fate and when their obsessions reach a peak they are magically transferred to a tropical island for a ritual that will enlighten their tormented minds... The music was recorded especially for the film by the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra. The premier took place at the 54th Berlin International Film-festival with a live performance of the orchestra conducted by Sir Simon Rattle. The film received numerous nominations and awards at festivals around the world.
