- Synopsis:
- When Harriet Vane (Harriet Walter) returns for a reunion at her old Oxford college, one of her former professors asks if she wouldn't mind putting her talents as a detective writer to use on the campus. It seems that someone is causing a great deal of upset by sending cruel and unpleasant letters to various students and faculty members, and that the tone of these letters is getting steadily worse. Harriet agrees to help track down the culprit, but not before teaming up with her old chum Lord Peter (Edward Petherbridge).
