'Luther' is an epic production recounting one of the greatest revolutionary periods in history - 'The Reformation'. It is the powerful true story of one man confronted with the frailty of human faith and his pursuit of spiritual upheaval in the battle against the corrupt might of an empire. After a brush with death, which he labels "a fright from heaven", a young Martin Luther abandons his law studies to enter a humble 16th Century Augustinian monastery. Here, under the tutelage of Father Johann his spiritual mentor, he embarks on an incredible journey that will change the face of the world forever. Seeing vice and corruption littering his faith, Luther's defiant crusade is to rid society of Church-sanctioned treachery and fear-mongering.
