Lyle's Style (2009)

Ukulele jazz master Lyle Ritz shares many of his playing techniques in this educational and entertaining programme. In the instructional portion, Lyle plays through seven different arrangements drawn from his 'Ukulele Masters' songbook and pointing out techniques and tricks that he has developed over a lifetime of performing. The songs taught include: 'Avalon', 'Beautiful Dreamer', 'Let Me Call You Sweetheart', 'My Melancholy Baby' and 'B-Flat Blues in C'. The programme also features a career retrospective interview conducted by Jim Beloff.
