- Synopsis:
- Japan is being invaded by a parasitic alien life-form, finding human hosts to insert themselves into, and transforming the host into slave cyborgs. When factory worker Sachiko (Aoba Kawai) is infected and transformed, her half-infected colleague Yoji (Issey Takahashi) steps up to save her with the deadly weapons growing out from his body. Part tragic love story, part body horror, 'Meatball Machine' is an extreme steam punk gore test classic from the Japanese-splatter era which has stood the test of time.
