- Synopsis:
- Gianni (Vittorio De Sica) and a young newsagent who had to interrupt his father's newspaper. And fascinated by the aristocratic world, and the good earnings of the kiosk make it possible to make a ladies' trip each year. It happens that one of his old companion, the wealthy, get him a first-class seat on a steamer where he inveighs woman. But he is mistaken for his friend Max Varaldo, and tomato at the newsstand must divert the doubts of Lauretta (Assia Noris), the lady's maid, who recognized him as a friend. From this moment, Gianni is forced to lead a double life.
