Synopsis:
At 9:02am, an explosion ripped into the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City. In three seconds, almost half of the nine story building was reduced to rubble. 168 people died, including 17 children who were in the building's daycare centre. The FBI launched an investigation bigger than any previous case and 36 months later they reached their definitive conclusion: Timothy McVeigh had detonated a massive truck-bomb next to the Murrah building's key support columns. This single explosion caused the collapse of the building and the resulting deaths. But conspiracy theories dispute the FBI's account.
They site evidence that multiple bombs and multiple terrorists were involved: bombing survivors felt more than one bomb explode, earthquake monitors recorded more than one ground shaking, and rescue efforts were stopped several times when unexploded munitions were discovered and removed from rubble. Suspicions were heightened when FBI confiscated 500 hours of surveillance camera footage taken before, during and after the explosion, and only allowed the public to see a few seconds of the footage. What really happened the fateful day....
