- Moonlight Sonata is a delight for lovers of classic movies and classical music, its main star is one of the greatest cultural and political icons of the twentieth century: the virtuoso pianist, Ignace Jan Paderewski. This romantic story is interspersed by Padereswki's magnificent performance at works by Chopin, Liszt and the film's title work by Beethoven. Moonlight Sonata tells the romantic tale of the survivors of an air-crash who take refuge at the home of an aristocrat. Another survivor is a fortune hunting cad, who attempts to seduce the Baroness' ganddaughter - until she finds true love in the arms of a young man.
