This animated series of ten 5 minute films features two of our best-loved actors, Richard Briers and Alan Bennett. They play the key roles of Mouse and Mole and also provide the voices for all the supporting characters. Joyce Dunbar is one of today's most successful writers for young children and Alison de Vere based on her animation on James Mayhew's original illustrations. The result is a collection of stories that are both wise and witty, with classic characters that stand beside Pooh, Ratty and Toad. Mouse and Mole's everyday adventures appeal to adults as well as children because of the endearing friendship of the two central characters and the humour of their exchanges.
