- Synopsis:
In a series of self-contained short films exploring the psychology and motive of an array of different killers, a respected headmaster gets embroiled in a rent boy's accidental murder, an off-duty police officer turns vigilante and ends up murdering a convicted paedophile, a lonely call-centre worker becomes obsessed with her boss and decides to murder the co-worker she suspects of having an affair with him, and a mother decides to take a brutal revenge on the man responsible for bullying her son and forcing him to suicide over 25 years ago.
1. PassionCall centre supervisor Jane Saunders (Pauline Quirke) is obsessed with her happily-married manager, Stephen (Mark Womack). Convinced that he is having an affair, she arranges a 'perfect' conclusion.
2. Disposal
Waste management executive Barry Coates (Rob Brydon) could be the world's most boring man. But when the cosy fabric of his home life is threatened, he is prepared to go to any extreme to save it.
3. Rage
When Ed (Neil Dudgeon) watches the victim of his road rage killing on TV, he is moved to confess. Disuaded by his possessive mother, his remorse turns into romance.
4. Swan Song
When Mark White (Michael Greco) falls for the ample charms of sexy nightclub singer, Tara Stevens (Samantha Robson), he is so besotted he is prepared to do anything for her - even murder.
5. Flashback
Nicholas Chadwick (Nigel Havers), a rising QC, is a regular visitor to the home of high-class prostitute, Angela Stephenson (Patsy Kensit). But when she tries to blackmail him, he decides to silence her for good.
6. Victim
Has Emily's (Camilla Power)'s friend, Lucy (Frances Grey), become too neurotic and obsessive? Or could the twentysomething workmates really be renting rooms in the house of a serial killer?
7. Memories
Successful paediatric surgeon Stuart Wilsher (Neil Pearson) is tormented by a recurring nightmare. Seeking help, Stuart begins to realise he will never escape the past.
8. Regrets
When the bank unfairly forecloses on his overdraft, businessman Ken Grendle (Dennis Waterman) loses his factory, house and wife. A broken man, he now has time on his hands - time to plan the ultimate revenge...- Actors:
