- Something evil is stirring in the small mining town of Gold Lick, and it's not happy. Guan-di, the Chinese protector of the dead, has been awakened by reckless teenagers, and now his bloody crusade to wipe out the town's entire population can only be stopped by one man - Bruce Campbell, B-movie star and deadbeat ex-husband extraordinaire, who's recruited to be their unwitting savior. When our hero faces off against a dark force more fearsome than a Hollywood agent, the laughs and screams start flying!

Bruce Terrible - My Name Is Bruce review by CP Customer
I’m a big Evil Dead fan, but even that bias cannot overcome the self-indulgent mess My Name Is Bruce actually is. It’s a dumb film that tries to be really clever and plays to Campbell’s fans. You will stumble across the occasional laugh even if you’re new to the cult of Bruce. I would say this movie is awful, cheap and thoughtless yet that’s doing a disservice to the films I’ve seen previously with the same critique. Very disappointing effort and as Bruce also directed, I hope he enjoyed making this more than I did sitting through it!
